I cannot wait for this game to come out, which is supposedly late 2011. The best thing about it is that it’s free to play (there is a cash shop I believe). I’m so excited I can’t stop watching the trailer vids. Too bad it won’t be out during the summer, ‘cuz that’s the only time I can afford not to have a life and play games all day.

I think it’s still at its developmental phase, no beta yet. Hopefully beta will open in the summer and I can lose some sleep over that.

I’ve played several games by PWE, and the thing that I didn’t like most about their games was that the world was too huge, especially PWI. The graphics were always stunning and the game play interactive and engaging, but it took serious chunks out of my day just watching the characters run to their destinations.

What I do love about PWE is their auto-route system, which is extremely easy to use and saves you a lot of frustration while you look for NPCS and quest items in such a diverse world (not exclusive to PWE games btw especially nowadays). I don’t remember if this was in other PWE games, but in Forsaken World the NPC quest item is actually illuminated so you can see it when you’re doing that quest. The thing about auto-routing for me is that I never know where anything is and it takes me longer to get familiar with an area.

With most games quests are easy to keep up with in the beginner zone and when you get to the main city it explodes. I haven’t had trouble keeping up with the Forsaken World quests so far, but I haven’t been able to play too much.

Like with all the PWE games, the attention to detail is amazing. Battle of the Immortals was a little too confusing for me because it felt like there was too much going on. Ether Saga got too tedious for me after a while. I don’t really have the time to get serious about playing Perfect World, but so far Forsaken World feels like a good mix. I like the variety of classesxraces as well as some degree of originality (the Vampire class of the Kindred race in particular).

But I must admit I’m getting tired of the generic click and numberkeyspam mmo’s. They all feel the same after a while (note I’m not comparing anything to WoW, because I really hate people who do that). I’m kind of leaning towards Vindictus now, waiting for FireFall (FUCK YEAH) and maybe Rusty Hearts(also by PWE, would you look at that).

But right now I’ve got exams and essays coming at me left and right, I shouldn’t get too caught up in this. I wish I had a gun or something to shoot them down. That would be mad fun.

I don’t think this is a rant, even though it’s under the category. This is a list, cuz I like them lists, about Crazies on the Bus.

1. The Talkative Crazies
These are the ones that get on the bus and start word spewing to the first person they see. They don’t always have valuable input to a conversation, in fact, sometimes they don’t even make sense. These ones are alright, because they’re borderline friendly with a pinch of crazy. They may become hostile if you’re actively rude to them.

2. The Muttering Crazies
These are the ones who sit in a corner and talk to themselves. Mostly harmless when left to their own devices.

3. The Pervy Crazies
These big fat blokes are usually old with a beer gut. They get on the bus and try to initiate physical contact with some innocent student who would really like to pull out a knife and go apeshit on all Pervy Crazies. Ignoring them doesn’t work. Shifting away doesn’t work. DO NOT TALK TO THESE PERVS. The only thing that works is if you get up and move somewhere else, preferably far away, or off the bus.

4. The Wide Sitters
These guys are not actually crazy, and could sometimes be mistaken for Pervy Crazies. Wide Sitters are not actually big people (and are most commonly male), but sit with their legs wide open to compensate for the fact that their egg roll is more like a cheesestring, trying with every fibre in their body to expand into other people’s seats to maximize the discomfort of others. Wide sitters are not so dangerous when confined at the window seat of two-seaters, but most dangerous on a bench-seating-type-scenario between two people. When confronted with their manner of sitting they usually have little to say and give in with a slight attitude. The only reason why they are on this list is because they annoy me more than most other crazies on the bus (except the Pervy Crazies).

5. Stinkies
These people (commonly hobos) travel the transit system followed by an air of death around them. The usual reaction of unfortunate seat buddies is to bury the nose in a scarf for collar. The source of their smell may be a result of the following: drinking, smoking, not showering, going through the trash, not brushing teeth, natural musk, social neglect etc. Stinkies could also be combined with any of the crazies named above.

6. Screaming Rage Crazies
These crazies take pleasure in not getting on the bus they’re waiting for and then chase angrily after it as it leaves, screaming nonsense words. On the off chance that they do decide to get on the bus they evolve to Talkative Crazies and/or sometimes Muttering Crazies.

I wish I could have visual support for this list. Oh well.

I missed one: PDA-prone no self-awareness couples on the bus. They’re basically self-explanatory and causes a great deal of discomfort (like the Wide Sitters) not only to the people sitting next to them but to anyone that is unfortunate enough to see it. It’s one of those things that can’t be unseen once seen. Unlike the Wide Sitters they’re not trying to cause discomfort to anyone on purpose, it’s just that they’re too focused on their own extreme lack of discomfort. Their craziness level increases with the volume of noise they produce.

Girls are frustrating not because they play mind games and stuff. Girls are frustrating because we never want the same things in the span of a month. Why? Because of that big, fat, red dot.

Sometimes we feel like we want something, and other times we don’t want it, and in the end we don’t know what we want. Best thing for very hormonal girls is to be patient. Period.
